The night before graduation Sarah & Drew graciously hosted a going away party/graduation party for our little group of friends.
It was a blast. Everyone who had families in town brought them along. I loved getting to know our friends families & see everyone together one last time. This really was the last time! Freeland & I were moving less than 24 hours from then!
And of course, Sarah & Drew always do a great job throwing together a party! I dont know how I'll ever host anything again without her living down the street from me to borrow things & ideas from! Unlesssss.... they move to Cleveland?! ;)
Here is a ridiculous but necessary amount of pictures
we were already crying at this point .. and it was as I walked up to the house.
Pretty sure this little guy ate everyone's watermelon. He never stops when watermelon is involved!
See how well our friends love our kids?
Throwing them around. I love it!
Tracy snuggling with Wylder
All the kids got tractor rides:
and this is the part where I leave out the story of River & Freeland almost running straight into Jackson with the John Deere ...
yes. our friends are also very gracious and forgiving.
I mean, can you think of a better night?
all the girls
all the boys
all of us together
all the boys celebrating graduation (and bill celebrating finishing residency!) Bill got all the guys those gifts!
and our family that was all in town for graduation.
(my dad & Tracy .. us .. and Freelands mom)
Looking back at all my last few post I cant believe we crammed the majority of that into 1 week. And I cant think of a better way to end our time in Erie .. surrounded by all our friends and family.. taking advantage of every single night.
We also had friends over one night for pizza. A group of 10+ people all sitting on the floor of our empty house enjoying a night together before we all moved to different states! We can clearly see how the Lord was gracious and offered lots of wonderful friendships in such a short time. What a blessing!
Next up .. GRADUATION!
