this years gingerbread house

For the last 2 years I have had this box of rice crispy treats that you make into a gingerbread house sitting in our pantry waiting to be made. Each year we forgot. So, this year I demanded that we get er done. Well, actually we just both remembered. I didnt demand anything.

I originally bought this thinking it was great because its a gingerbread house you can actually eat! But clearly, when its a 2 year old kit, you dont want to eat it!

Oh well. We still had a blast. River loved the one on one attention from us but he especially loved it once he figured out all the stuff we were putting on it was sweet and he could eat it!

Glad we can share the tradition of gingerbread houses now with our children. One day we'll have a little village of gingerbread houses! ha

PS: I dont recommend the rice crispy version. Clearly, its no where near as fun! Stick to the graham crackers or gingerbread cookies.
