As of today, Freeland will officially be a resident in Cleveland training in Orthopedic Surgery for the next 5 years!

We couldnt be more excited! It was the spot that Freeland listed first in his rank list. After a lot of prayer, conversations, & thinking about where we would be the next 5 years .. it feels like the exact right place for us. The way the Lord worked it out and prepared the entire thing was beautiful & a blessing. And Im thankful that we can trust in his plan for our family. I cannot say it enough that without the Lord orchestrating all of this we never would have ended up in this position.

Now, that being said, obviously Freeland has also worked incredibly hard too. If it werent for his integrity, work ethic, and personality I dont think any of this would have happened either. So praise the Lord for his provision and grace/mercy to allow Freeland to show who he really his and what he is passionate about!

and now because I love these pictures of the boys ..
enjoy a *few* more!

**And a HUGE shout out to my friend, B at A Cup of Sweetness, for making these shirts for our boys! They were part of a sweet gift package when Wylder was born. I knew the minute I saw them that I wanted to take these pictures the day of match. Now we just need to add one with Ohio on it! ;) And in case you didnt notice how awesome she is .. there are hearts in both the locations we actually lived in! Brilliant! I love them!

  7. Congrats! I've been following your blog for the past couple years and am so excited for you & your family. I grew up in Erie but came to Cleveland for college, fell in love with the city (and my now-husband haha), and stayed. Feel free to contact me if you want any advice on areas to live, yummy places to eat, or things to do! :) tehcheesestandsalone AT gmail DOT com
Welcome to Ohio where you'll enjoy (among other things): less snow than Erie, Buckeye candy (like Reeses cups), amazing zoos (Cleveland, Toledo, and Columbus), and the ability to buy alcohol in any grocery/convenience store.
However, before you leave Erie, make sure to get your fill of: Presque Isle, pepperoni balls, and Wegman's! :)

  8. Hi Brooke!
I have never commented but love your blog! I grew up in Cleveland, spent about four years living in NYC and just recently moved back. I LOVE Cleveland! I grew up in Shaker Heights and loved every second! Feel free to send me an email if you need any recommendations on places to live, churches, schools, etc! The hospitals in Cleveland are amazing, so big congrats to your husband!
