our new home in erie

here are some pictures of our new townhouse. They are all from when we first got here so its empty but you can at least see what its like. pretend its like the cribs tv show.. here let me give you the tour

This is our living room when you first walk in. we plan to make this where we hang out with adam & cam. as you can see there are a ton of electrical outlets.. were not sure why but they are all over the place.

Here lets make that a bigger picture for you so you get the real idea of what were looking at. We also share the living room with our dining room. Were working on figuring out how to make it all fit. This is where we slept the first night .. on the middle of the floor with all the animals. we didnt have anything unpacked yet. It was a fun little slumber party:

Here are the stairs that go up to our bedroom and the office. You should see the dogs going up these. Its hilarious. Especially from the basement up to the living room - they try to race up it but they dont really fit at the same time! Poor guys, they havent ever been around stairs before. I will video tape it for yall so you can giggle too. Really.

our bedroom. {I think this is the part where they say "where the magic happens" on the show but Im going to just tell you this is our bedroom}. It gets nice & bright in the morning - which I love.
across the hall is the office. This is where I will spend most of my time {working}. Freeland will also spend most of his time here {studying}. Its a nice little room and looks out to the creek behind us.

The bathroom. You dont really need an explanation for this, right?

This is our kitchen. Nothing too fancy. This was really one of the main reasons I picked this townhouse. Not that the kitchen is anything special but its the only place that had a decent size kitchen & we moved from a kitchen that had more storage than you would ever know what to do with .. so I knew we were going to need as much space as possible.
Our view outside from the kitchen {Freeland was playing with the pups on the floor} Shoot, I forgot to take a picture of the inside of the fridge like on cribs! Next time.

this is our balcony. We plan to chillax here as much as possible. As you can see from the picture its on the 2nd floor. The first floor is all garage & basement so the main level of the house starts on the 2nd.

Here is the view from our balcony. Thats the creek behind us. This is where we take the dogs to run & play. Its soo nice having that behind us. All of our neighbors also have animals so its been really fun playing with all them.
Funny side note: one of our neighbors has her cat on a leash outside. Ive never seen that before. Im not knocking it - its smart so the cat stays close. But its also a cat on a leash. Okay Im hungry & going to eat breakfast with the hubby now. Have a great day.

  1. Is this on the other side of LECOM from the Jennings? Is the creek behind your home, Mill Creek?

  3. Wow...I'm glad you guys made it safely - that storm looked pretty rough. We just got back from our big road trip too...thankfully we didn't have a gas guzzling truck. I don't even want to beging thinking about how much money you guys spent just on fuel (yikes!)

  4. I suggest trying a few pepperoni balls or pizza balls from Patti's pizza which is near you, I think! It is really inexpensive and delicious.

  5. I always had my cats on a leash in PA....we had a townhouse and then a house that had a 2nd story deck....Mr. Fozzberry Pie accidentally lept to the ground 2 stories long and was sitting in the weeds and briars....after that it was leash time while on the deck for all pussycattalonies.

I think I know where you live....I won't say since crazy people could stalk and mame you but my girlfriend that used to work for GE also, bought a townhouse...yours looks very similar. She since sold it and has moved to Chicago.
